From Bill Clossin-
Roger and I hung out a lot in grade school.  We were always connected somehow -- his mother was our den mother in cub scouts and his father was our farm team baseball coach.  We used to walk to and from school together.  One great memory I have of Roger is how jealous we all use to be of his lunches.  He always brought his lunch to Kyger and it was always better than whatever the cafeteria was serving.  But, most of all, he always had a twinkie, ding dong, or cup cake that would make us salivate like Pavlov's dog.
Roger was a kind-hearted soul.  We grew apart in junior and high school like so many do.
